PROGRAMA PARA OLIMPIADAS DE FÍSICA
En conversaciones con profesores de varias partes del país, vía correo electrónico, me han hecho notar que no existe un programa de desarrollo integral para olimpiadas de física en nuestro país, un programa que incluya desarrollo de problemas, clases, tareas para la casa y que sea durante todo el año,y que además otorgue la oportunidad a alumnos que no cuentan con entrenadores por diversos motivos tengan la oportunidad de entrenarse y capacitarse,fue entonces que se me vino a la mente que se requería que en nuestro país se desarrolle un trabajo muy parecido al que se realiza en Estados Unidos, Hong Kong, Rusia y Argentina cada uno de estos países tienen un programa anual de desarrollo de
jóvenes talentos para olimpiadas de física que se desarrolla en una universidad del país,de esa forma
todos tienen la misma oportunidad de desarrollarse en un ambiente adecuado y en las mismas condiciones.
En principio el proyecto es el siguiente:

+ La primera fase del programa sería de Diciembre del 2011 a Mayo del 2012
+ Consistiría de Tareas mensuales,reuniones una vez al mes
+ Cada reunión sería de cinco a 6 horas en la PUCP (por confirmar lo del 2012), podrían haber colegios interesados en ser las sede de algunas fechas de las reuniones
+ Las tareas cubrirían un tema en específico: Física General, Mecánica, Termodinámica, Electromagnetismo, Optica y Ondas, Física Moderna.
+ En cada reunión se desarrollaría y discutirían los problemas de la Tarea además de desarrollo un tópico especial relacionado con el tema de la tarea.
+ Habría una parte experimental (en la los laboratorios de la PUCP,aún por confirmar)
+ Parte de las reuniones serían grabadas y colgadas en YOUTUBE
+ No hay costo, pueden participar alumnos de la secundaria peruana, previa inscripción

Publicación de tarea: 21 de diciembre

Publicación de tarea: 24 de febrero
Reunión: 24 de marzo

OPTICA Y ONDAS
Publicación de tarea: 21 de marzo
Reunión: 21 de abril

FÍSICA MODERNA
Publicación de tarea: 19 de abril
Reunión: 19 de mayo

In the first part the laws of mechanics are treated in the Newtonian approximation i.e. when motion velocities are much less than the velocity of light, while in the second part of the book velocities comparable to that of light are considered.

Therefore, each chapter contains first a description of the theory of the subject being considered (illustrated by concrete examples) and then a set of selected problems with solutions. The problems are closely related to the text and often complement it. Hence they should be analYfed together with the text. In author’s opinion, the selected problems should enable the reader to attain a deeper understanding of many important topics and to visualize (even without solving the problems
but just by going through them) the wide range of applications of the ideas presented in this book.
