 Edwin Mendoza trajo medalla de plata y Gabriel Patiño consiguió la presea de oro, ambos entrenados por nuestro querido Hugo Alberto Luyo Sánchez, estamos felices por este importante éxito Huguito. Ambos jóvenes son del colegio Prolog de Villa María del Triunfo. Así también, Flavio Cachay del Colegio Mayor logró una mención honrosa y Percy Sifuentes del colegio Saco Oliveros trajo una medalla de plata para el Perú. Bravo por estos cuatro jóvenes. Felicitaciones.

Despues de los resultados finales de la Olimpiada Peruana de Física (OPF) nuestros 2 alumnos: Gabriel Patiño Espinoza y Edwin Mendoza Orocaja, formarán parte de la delegación peruana de física que nos representarán en la Olimpiada Iberoamericana de Física (OIbF) el cual se llevará a cabo del 20 - 28 de octubre 2018 PUERTO RICO.

Overview Contests in Higher Mathematics: Miklós Schweitzer Competitions 1962-1991 / Edition 1
 One of the most effective ways to stimulate students to enjoy intellectual efforts is the scientific competition. In 1894 the Hungarian Mathematical and Physical Society introduced a mathematical competition for high school students. The success of high school competitions led the Mathematical Society to found a college level contest, named after Miklo's Schweitzer. The problems of the Schweitzer Contests are proposed and selected by the most prominent Hungarian mathematicians. This book collects the problems posed in the contests between 1962 and 1991 which range from algebra, combinatorics, theory of functions, geometry, measure theory, number theory, operator theory, probability theory, topology, to set theory. The second part contains the solutions. The Schweitzer competition is one of the most unique in the world. The experience shows that this competition helps to identify research talents. This collection of problems and solutions in several fields in mathematics can serve as a guide for many undergraduates and young mathematicians. The large variety of research level problems might be of interest for more mature mathematicians and historians of mathematics as well.

The originality of the book The Geometry of Homological Triangles consists in using the homology of triangles as a "filter" through which remarkable notions and theorems from the geometry of the triangle are unitarily passed. Our research is structured in seven chapters, the first four are dedicated to the homology of the triangles, while the last ones to their applications.
