En este libro el autor no se propuso presentar las propiedades básicas de las desigualdades, y sólo buscaba introducir en la escuela a los estudiantes de la escuela secundaria con algunas desigualdades notables, las cuales juegan un papel importante en varias secciones de matemáticas y sus aplicaciones en búsqueda de los maximos y minimos para calcular algunos límites.
